24 June 2023 - Issue 15 of the Trinidad Express Newspaper Tobago Pride features an article on an ERIC project that aims to save Tobago's critically endangered pillar coral.


27 May 2023 - Issue 14 of the Trinidad Express Newspaper Tobago Pride features two articles. One on how the Charlotteville fishing tournament contributes to conservation and community and the second on how islets and reefs of North-east Tobago are national natural treasures.

29 April 2023 - T&T Express in the Tobago pride supplement published an article on the first harvest of the Charlotteville oysters.




11th October 2018 - Newsday Tobago featured an article on the Forest Check program which won the Energy Globe Award for the second year running. The award recognises projects focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energies and conservation of resources. ERIC alongside the reputable tour guides developed this program to monitor forest health using an eco-tourism method.



28th September 2018 - Tobago Today published an article on ERIC's initiative to give the youth of Charlotteville their first steps to becoming scuba divers. By giving out PADI Discover Scuba Diver experiences to local youths between the ages of 15-26.



25th July 2018 - Tobago Newsday covering the first Acropora coral out-planting initiative within Pirates bay. ERIC is already planning to have many more excursions like these open to certified divers.



7th June 2017 - United Nations Web TV runs a short piece on the role of resource co-management in developing sustainable alternative livelihoods, featuring our CEO/Director Aljoscha and community based field technician Welldon Mapp.

16th April 2017 - ERIC CEO/Director Aljoscha was interviewed by Dr Chan for the Positive Vibez programme on Caribriddims Radio. Aljoscha talked with Dr Chan about the history of ERIC, the programmes we are involved with and the projects we run, our connection with the communities of northeast Tobago, and what he hopes the future will hold for ERIC and all those involved.



5th June 2017 - United Nations Radio features an interview with Rissa Edoo, National Coordinator for the Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme, in which she discusses our projects under this programme:



"The Small Grants Programme project with ERIC helps to actually include the community members in crucial decision making and stakeholder consultations, it gives them a voice in terms of what they want to see out of these national projects, and it really empowers them and puts them in a place where they can make a change in their community."
